• Negotiator on several land claims.  Led development of the Nisga'a Final Agreement Act (British Columbia), currently the model for all modern treaty settlement legislation in Canada

• Major disputes and blockades resolution in several different regions across Canada

• Labour relations negotiations for $28 billion in payroll and significant advances in performance management

• Managed litigation with a book contingent liability value of $48 billion and major constitutional impacts

• Settled major Indian Residential School claims, led federal and national responses to the National Inquiry on Murdered and Missing Indigenous Women and Girls and the location of Unmarked Burials at former Residential School and other sites

• Responsibilities for key aspects of federal regulatory responsibilities in northern Canada.

• Responsible for major natural conservation and cultural heritage initiatives and achievements at Parks Canada

• Led Parks Canada in responding to historic fires, floods, capital investment projects and cultural heritage initiatives and managed the Agency's leadership of the Canada 150 celebrations from coast to coast to coast

• Significant international work, including advancing the United Nations Declaration on the Rights of Indigenous Peoples at the United Nations prior to its ratification
